· Check the material: Give priority to choosing drum cores made of high-purity and high-hardness photosensitive materials, such as high-grade selenium alloy or special ceramic coatings. · Check the process: The surface coating must be uniform and free of flaws. The photosensitive layer of the high-quality drum core is made in a dust-free workshop through precise evaporation or spraying processes to ensure uniform charge distribution and fine imaging without background dust.

Step 2: Verify precise compatibility and eliminate "almost right"


"General" or "approximate compatibility" is a major source of risk.


· Precise matching: The corresponding drum core must be found based on the "official Part Number" of the printer model. For instance, the Ricoh MP 5054 corresponds to the D025 drum, not the D024.

· Chip and Firmware: Confirm that the version of the chip equipped on the drum core is compatible with the firmware of your printer. Before purchasing, check the model label on the old drum core inside your equipment and consult the supplier whether their product has passed the comprehensive test of that model.

An excellent drum core is a system in which multiple precision components work together.


· Charging roller: Check its material and elasticity. A high-quality charging roller can provide stable and uniform charge, which is the key to ensuring no base dust.
